Wildland Firefighting School - S-130 - S-190 - L-180

S-130 Basic Wildland Firefighter
S-190 Introduction to Fire Behavior
L-180 Human Factors on the Fireline

These three courses are taught in series beginning with S-190, which provides instruction in
the primary environmental factors that affect the start and spread of wildfire and recognition
of potentially hazardous situations. S-130 is designed to provide entry-level firefighting skills.
The L-180 Human Factors on the Fireline is included as part of this course.

COST: $200.00 for the Course.

(Lunches not included.)
Course is limited to 25 students!

Prerequisites:
IS-100 Intro to ICS and IS-700 NIMS are a requirement for "red carding" wildland firefighters.

These courses can be taken on line at http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/crslist.asp 
either before or after this training.

ST PETERSBURG (FL) COLLEGE National Terrorism Preparedness Institute

approximately 1 hour in a television news show format. There is a
new video every month. Recent topics include: Playas Training &

FEMA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE:

providers of on-line emergency management training, they now have 60
independent study courses.

credit versions of two of their Master's degree courses: Critical
